少し先ですが、第3回目の糸マルシェWS出店のお知らせです。
12月は、忙しない中一年の振り返りや、新しい年に向けての期待が渦巻く月。
そんな特別な月にぴったりなしめ飾りを作るWSを行います。
からむしの透明感に、常盤木の緑を添えて。
初心者の方でも簡単に作っていただける「のの字飾り」がベースです。
前回より引き続きの「からむし房飾りWS」も行います。
糸マルシェには他に刺繍、刺し子、マクラメやタティングレースの作家さんが出店され、色々なWSがお楽しみいただけます。
鎌倉駅西口からすぐのお店ですので、是非お散歩ついでにお立ち寄りください。

1. Shime-kazari (rope decoration) making WS
(ca. 30 min)
Rope decorations, normally made of rice straws, are hang on the door around year-end and New year holidays in Japan to celebrate the New Year.
Inspired by those traditional decorations, I made one with ramie fiber, arranged to suit for advent season.
Let's make a simple ornament with lustrous fiber and evergreen leaves.
2.Tassel strap charm making WS
(30min~)
Make a tassel and rope with ramie fiber.
You'll learn what the raw ramie fiber is like and how to process it.
Earrings can be made on request.
